HD DVD player sales share slumps

This month hasn't just seen a relative decline in US HD DVD software sales - purchases of players appear to be down to, the latest figures from market watcher NPD suggest. The numbers, relayed by website The Digital Bits, cover weekly sales of dedicated players - so the PS3 and the Xbox 360 add-on are not included - from the end of December 2007 through to the end of the second week of January.

haven't read the article but this isn't unexpected at all.
Perhaps now the few extreme hd-dvd defendants will realize that the war is clearly over. It's time to shake hands and move on.
