SYMPTOMS
When you start one of the Office 2000 programs that are listed at the beginning of this article after April 15, 2003, you may receive a prompt to register Office. This symptom may occur if Office has previously been registered or if the version of Office that you are using does not typically require registration.
RESOLUTION
To help resolve this issue, download and install the appropriate patch for your version of Office.
