Hotmail Storage Increase Is Weeks Late

The folks who run MSN's Hotmail promised to deliver 250 megabytes of free storage to all users. That promise was made on the 4th of July, in a note that also said, "We will send an update on when and how these exciting changes will be made to your account within two weeks. Please check your email for this important update."

Users who have been checking have been sorely disappointed not to be hearing anything. So, while Yahoo! mail users and Gmail users -- those few who are beta testing the product, at least " have all the storage on Earth, or so it seems, Hotmail users are struggling along and making do with a measly two megabytes.
