HTC 7 Mozart ROM with non-final NoDo update leaks [Updated]

The next big Windows Phone 7 update 'NoDo' (build 7355) has just leaked to the web. Although the leak is a non-final version of NoDo, and is only available to HTC 7 Mozart devices, it's still a leak ahead of the final build, which is actually due tomorrow.

Many are claiming the issues may push back the release of the Windows Phone 7 major update "NoDo" which brings Copy & Paste support, better performance, the compass API and better marketplace search to the platform, but we're still confident the update will go ahead on March 8 for many WP7 owners.

The leaked Mozart firmware build 7355 isn't the final release of the Windows Phone 7 NoDo update, which is expected to have a build number of 7389. Since this is a non-final build, we encourage users to simply wait for the final and official release from Microsoft before proceeding with the update.

Mobiletechworld reports that the ROM version is RUU_Mozart_HTC_Europe_1.30.401.01_5.54.09.21_22.33 b.50_RELEASE. The site also reports that the Samsung Omnia 7 is also expected to leak very shortly (firmware KA1), but because the official release should surface tomorrow, it's best to wait.

Update: Turns out, this is the actual RTM and not build 7355 as previously reported. The leak is build 7389.

No love for HD7 and T-Mobile yet. My conversation with a support person, online:

~Andrew D: I have found that the update is set to come out however I'm not able to find a set release date at this point for the update, only that it is coming soon.
Michael xxxxxx: O.K. Thank you.
~Andrew D: I apologize that I don't have a set release date for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
Michael xxxxxx: No, that was all, thank you!
~Andrew D: Thank you for choosing T-Mobile, have a great day!

This isn't a "non-final" copy of NoDo that has leaked, it is the RTM.

Then what is the difference between the build in this leaked version 7.0.7355.0 and the one out there of 7.0.7389.0, differences between carriers?

Depends if your phone is unbranded or not

but it's already the 6:30PM on the 8th for me... and still no update

Honestly I have no idea where they picked that date from in the fist place, but Microsoft themselves have never officially confirmed March 8

Wow. I hope you realize it's not even morning yet in the US. Don't expect an update until in the evening european time, if it even comes today.

Hope MS starts to push out the update this week, it seems like it's good to go if HTC ROMs are leaking at this point. On the other hand we're looking at different builds so I don't know, 7355 or 7389? I always expected the final NoDo build to be a nice round 7400.

Why do you keep posting that it adds a compass API? Where did you hear that?

Yeah seriously, no wonder there be wp7 haters. News next week: 'WP7 nodo compass API cut due to issues. Will mango slip til 2029?'

Oh, because, you know, it's in the update? They aren't saying anything cause there's no compass app yet. HTC Trophy happens to be a compass equipped phone.
