HTC Incredible photos and details leak

Pocketnow.com has released photos, details and even a video of the new upcoming HTC incredible.  The leaked screenshots, still branded with a ‘confidential’ text, appear to be the next HTC phone on the market.

The leaked details about the new upcoming HTC incredible is said to be running a Snapdragon processor, possibly at 1Ghz.  The phone supports a 3.5 or 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, similar to that of the Nexus One.  However, the HTC Incredible only runs with 256MB of ram, compared to 512MB in the Nexus One.

The phone is running Android 2.1, with “fast, very fast” video playback, as described by the person in the video.  The video also discusses an optical mouse pointer near the bottom of the phone, while the back of the phone contains a dual-LED flash for pictures.

Please HTC besides the US carrier with world wide versions and different ram amounts make something different and stand out with your phones.

Wikipedia = FAIL......

HTC is very committed to Windows Mobile but as a business model you also sell what is hot and Android is a big buzzword right now. Smart business decision and Windows Mobile can still play in that space with the release of WM 7 which I am sure will be a surprise to those naysayers.

The application icons look to small/spaced out just like Google's Nexus phone. I'm no fan of Apple but the icons being large and all the same size/shape on the iphone is a really smart idea

For those like me left wondering what HTC is...got it from Wikipedia.

HTC Corporation, formerly High Tech Computer Corporation, is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of smartphones. The company initially made smartphones based primarily on Microsoft's Windows Mobile software, but in 2009 it began to shift its focus away from Windows Mobile devices, to devices based on the Android operating system.

So this and the Nexus One on Verizon, I love choice. I wonder when this will hit though?

This is a different phone. The Nexus One is still coming to Verizon at it's current specs and form.

Reread what I said...

I hope they improve on the speaker from the N1. Otherwise, I look forward to reading the full technical specification for this one.

It's called HTC Sense UI. Not "Hero Interface" ;)

Wonder if this means Hero upgrade to 2.1 is closer than expected (aka June 2010 latest)

Sadly, the video is really awful. That guy was pointing at the floor half the video!

The responsiveness of the interface seemed nice. Hopefully more details emerge soon.

It looks really nice, I hope the name is WIP though, sounds very corny...

HTC Dream
HTC Magic
HTC Hero
...HTC Incredible

Based on previous model names it seems likely.
