ImgBurn 2.4.1.0

ImgBurn is a free lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit! It supports a wide range of image file formats - including BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI, as well as Unicode folder/file names, so you shouldn't run in to any problems if you're using an international character set. The software supports all the Windows OS's - Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista and 2008 (including all the 64-bit versions). If you use Wine, it should also run on Linux and other x86-based Unixes.

like i was saying above it's the best.... my only complaint about it though (which im pretty sure developer said he wont change) is.... it needs to be able to rename files once added to the imgburn program AND create folders from within the program itself.

Let me see. The joke is that it says "your killed" instead of "you're killed". Am I right, or am I right?

Great program. The only thing I'd like to see would be those stupid jokes and slogans removed. They make it look very amateurish.

Burrrn ( http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4 ) ... or here is a direct link to the application.... http://www.burrrn.net/download/burrrn_package.exe

loads up faster than ImgBurn and gets straight to the point and it's a very light app (uses little resources) and it's made for only burning audio cd's and it's FREE ;)

here's a quote from the website...

"Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files.
Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC̢۪s noncompliant image + cue sheets! Burrrn can read all types of tags from all these formats (including ape tags in mp3). Burrrn uses cdrdao.exe for burning."

legendary app:)

I only wish that slysoft bought ImgBurn off the developer, added the ability to remove protections by adding parts of dvd decrypter back in and Label it Slysoft Imgburn and sell it quite cheap.

i agree with torrentthief ... but, usually once a company takes over a program the coding goes to hell.... especially if it's a major corporation.

thats what makes imgburn stand out from most apps... it just works and the developer has a good reputation.

it's just a shame the 'higher up's' shut down dvd decrypter since that was made by the same guy (lightning uk) who makes imgburn.... cause in it's day dvd decrypter was THE decrypting app for dvd movies.

this app is THE BEST burning app on the market and best of all it's free ;)

i use this (for data) and Burrrn (for audio) for all my burning needs pretty much.

Maybe it will be best when it introduces "On the Fly" burning. Making images for every burn is tedious.

You don't need to create images to burn, just use build mode, and select device, not image, been there since build mode has, as far as I can remember.

Is this genuine ...

2.4.1.0 Released: Tuesday 1st April 2008 Take me to the top, baby!

* Added: Support for the TAO write type as a real option rather than just a fallback if SAO fails.
* Added: Support for burning APE/FLAC/WV files with an embedded CUE sheet as if they were normal image files.
* Added: Accurate audio duration calculation (via a dummy decode pass just before the burn) leading to less gaps/padding and no missing audio data.
* Added: Support for new booktype related options known as 'Active Setting' on NEC/Optiarc drives (to swap between the 'Permanent' and 'Temporary' setting)
* Added: The ability to have the open/save dialog boxes always default to the folder specified in the 'File Locations' tab within the Settings window. (otherwise it'll default to the MRU one)
* Added: 'New Project' option to the File menu in Build mode.
* Added: When the program is unable to find any cells to use for the LB when buring a DL disc in Build mode, it now tells you extra info about which cell to split and where to do it.
* Added: Support for reading discs recorded using the TAO write type.
* Added: Context/popup/right click menu to the 'Add file or folder to source list' button in Build mode (the green +) with the option of 'Clear Source MRU List' on it.
* Added: Options to enable/disable the success/error sounds after certain program functions.

Or am I just reading too much into it with all the jokes today :)
