Working off of Windows CE, Windows Automotive (4.2) is an operating system that offers speech navigation, speech interface, and the ability to work with your existing devices (PocketPCs & Smart Phones). Microsoft even goes one step further by giving the car manufactures the OS to customize to their liking. From the video shown Windows Automotive looks very promising.
