Use this for batch conversion. Nice app, but I wish more attention could be brought to the UI.

I use this utility since 18 years now... that tells something about the reliability and usability of this gem. My other 2 all-time favorites are Totalcommander and winamp. These 3 utilities are the ultimate must have for all PC-using human on the planet.

I'm so happy with the simplicity and usefulness of this little program that even it's not needed i supported the author by donating some cash.
Same thing happened with winrar 2 years ago.
It feels a little strange, using apps that have been proven useful to me, not to give something back...!! Great apps, they deserve it.

WINRAR are great. I emailed them saying "WOW - the price is a lot, do you have any discount codes" - they came back saying "Here's one that'll get you v5 for $15".

I hear this is the best image viewer, together with faststone (used to be acdsee)

i use faststone. why would i want this better? faststone is great. (though reviews say they are both excellent)

who hear use it? and if you do, did you try faststone?

I've tried both, I prefer ifanview more. It has more options and plugins and works nicely with other, more powerful, apps.

works nice with other apps? what do you mean? like photoshop?

There is a hotkey you can set to open the stuff in external viewer. Shift1 shift2 and shift3. This way I can doubleclick PSD files to view them, press ctrl+e or shift+1 and it opens them up in photoshop.

Irfanview would get my vote all day long also.

I prefer Faststone Maxview myself (the freeware version). Just click on a picture in my file manager and it opens fullscreen with no menu bars, photo libraries, or other pointless clutter.
