EA's Burnout 3: Takedown has achieved remarkable success in the Japanese market, with the PS2 version going in at number two in the software charts with first week sales of around 32,000 units.
It enters the chart just behind Nintendo's GBA title Mawaru Made In Wario, with the latest instalment in the critically acclaimed series which is known as WarioWare in the west taking the top spot with sales of around 86,000 units.
