LinuxLive USB Creator 2.8.29

LiLi USB Creator (Linux Live USB Creator) makes it easy to try out some of the available Linux variations, including Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, Debian and many others. The program can automatically download the distribution you want to use, or you can create the Live USB drive from an existing ISO image or CD. LiLi USB Creator offers an easy to use (almost too toy-like) interface that makes it easy, even for non-technical users, to experiment with Linux without the need for a spare computer or dual booting.

Lili even comes with a built-in virtualization feature (VirtualBox) that lets you run Linux from within Windows without the need to reboot. Other features include support for data persistence (Live USB), hidden install option, intelligent drive formatting and more.

Version 2.8.29, new Linux Distributions supported:

  • Pinguy OS 14.04
  • Clonezilla Live CD 2.2.3-10
  • Android x86 4.4 RC2
  • wattOS R8
  • Debian Live 7.5.0 Gnome/KDE/LXDE/Xfce/Standard
  • Linux Mint Debian 201403 MATE/Cinnamon DVD
  • OpenMandriva Lx 2014.0
  • Porteus KDE 3.0
  • elementary OS 20130810
  • Kali Linux 1.0.7

No need to copy and paste and your antivirus log here. I can assure you this is just a false positive. Norton does this with all new applications or applications with "very few users".

Is all that's new? Are these guys releasing new versions of their utility every time a new version of some distribution comes out?

You'd think it would simply periodically check for some definition update on some site somewhere--the rest of the program surely doesn't have to change...
