The newest issue of Computer Games magazine reveals in a brief article that Battle Realms developer Liquid Entertainment will be the developer for The War of the Rings, the upcoming RTS game from Vivendi Universal's Black Label Games division based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy. The article talks a little about the game, which will feature both the People of Middle-Earth and the Forces of Sauron in two different single player senarios. The game's release is still a long way off according to the article with The War of the Rings scheduled for the second half of 2004.
