If you live in Europe, you may have a chance to purchase a limited edition of the Nokia Lumia 900 with a tie-in to one of the biggest movies of 2012. Pocket-lint.com reports that Nokia will release a version of the Windows Phone that's also a promotion for the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
The limited edition will be colored in black with the Batman logo laser etched into the Lumia 900's case. The smartphone will go on sale sometime in the coming weeks in the UK, Germany, France and other European territories. There's no word yet on the price of this version nor how many will be available for sale to the general public.
Nokia has already made a couple of tie-ins with its Lumia family of phones with The Dark Knight Rises. In 2011, during a press event in London to promote the movie, members of the media were given a limited edition Dark Knight Rises version of the earlier Lumia 800. The Canadian wireless carrier Rogers also gave away a Dark Knight Rises version of the Lumia 900 as part of a contest to launch the smartphone earlier in 2012.
