Mad Riders to be released in late May

Developer Techland and publisher Ubisoft are getting ready to offer gamers a new and cheap way to get their off-road racing thrills. The publisher announced earlier this week that it will release Mad Riders in late May for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. The downloadable game will be launched first for the PS3, via the Playstation Network, on May 29th. The PC and Xbox 360 versions will be released on May 30th. Pricing for Mad Riders will be just $10 (or 800 Microsoft points).

The game will let players will see players race on 45 different tracks in a variety of locations around the world.  Players will also be able to accomplish all sorts of aerial stunts in Mad Riders while also searching for shortcuts in the tracks. There are also three online multiplayer modes in the game with support for up to 12 players, along with online leaderboards.

Techland previously released a similar off-road racing game, Nail'd, that was published by Deep Silver in the fall of 2010. The developer is best known for its Call of Juarez first person shooter games, also published by Ubisoft, along with Dead Island, the zombie action game that sold 3 million copies when it was released in the fall of 2011.
