Sjifty has stumbled upon the new windows blinds 3 for all windows platforms. its version 8A.
Heres what i got from the developers notes:
Beta 8a - The Good
Includes XPCopper as demonstration on the new XP start/taskbar skinning (will be in SkinStudio shortly). There aren't vertical taskbar images defined for this yet, so it'll look a bit odd if your taskbar is on the left/right of the screen.
You may exclude apps from being skinned by WindowBlinds by checking the "Disable visual themes" option in the Compatibility tab of their shortcut (or by using the Advanced config window of WindowBlinds).
IEXBETA has mirrored the file for download! In order to install this beta successfully, you will need to install WindowBlinds 2.2 or any other ObjectDesktop component first!

Beta 8a - The Bad
While a SmartBars sample is commented out in the XP Copper skin, this may not be the final form of the UIS definitions. Always on Top, Rollup, Quicklaunch, and URL sample .wbp files included (in main wb dir).
No Windows Installer usage in this build. Anything installer related like all user/limited user installs/etc not in this build. Installer is also bigger than it needs to be, will be working on that.
RUNDLL32 is not skinned with this build on XP. You can force it to skin by adding the following to windows wb.ini and restarting WB.

We are working on the funkiness of this on 9x machines.
Beta 8a - The Ugly
Logon/domain prompt dialogs on XP have a black text background for the checkbox if button skinning is enabled in this build.
Scrollbars DOA.
If you have a taskbar > one row high and it changes back down on applying a new skin,
this is a Microsoft bug. Try it a few times changing between Windows Classic and the
Windows XP Visual Style.
The Please Wait dialog appearing on a 2nd monitor on Windows XP is a also MS issue.
If the Appearance tab in Display Properties does not have the additional WindowBlinds functions, make sure the Path key at HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Stardock WindowBlinds WB5.ini Installed is pointing to the directory you installed WindowBlinds to (that contains wbbasicui.dll).
If necessary, update the Path key's value and then regsvr32 the dll manually. If this
occurs, please email your install.log to kwilas@stardock.com.
