Cheers Vla for this newsbyte: The incident was discovered this week during a software routine check-up
Ghislane Werner of the Dutch ISP Planet Internet stated 'because of a bug in the software a script has been deleting websites for 3 hours'.
Only 2000 sites out of the 20000 were active and the webmasters of these sites have been notified by email.
Planet Internet is not responsible for the loss of data and the website owners need to restore their own backup. erm, thanks!
