I just got word that Beta testers have received notification that the Alpha Microsoft® .NET My Services SDK has begun. Selected users may download the Alpha SDK from betaplace.com

The .NET My Services SDK is being offered to developers as the primary toolkit for building .NET My Services based applications. The .NET My Services SDK includes Microsoft® .NET My Services Developer Edition. .NET My Services Developer Edition was created for development in a local environment.
It contains the alpha bits for the initial .NET My Services, which are described in more detail in the documentation provided on the SDK.
  • The .NET My Services Developer Edition contains the bits required to run your own, standalone .NET My Services server for development purposes, including the core architecture and all of the services (Microsoft® .NET Calendar, Microsoft® .NET Contacts, etc.) that shipped with that version of the SDK.
  • The .NET My Services SDK includes the .NET My Services Developer Edition, documentation, and sample applications.

Together, these components provide everything you need to start working with Microsoft's latest user-centered Web services technology. Please use this site to send us feedback and to post bugs on the .NET My Services SDK that you got from the PDC. Before you begin installing the SDK, please make sure to read through the included README file for the latest information on platform requirements and known issues.

Be sure to check out the .NET My Services Family web site at http://www.microsoft.com/myservices
