Well - whether you like the lady or not, she has served Britain (and the commonwealth) well for 50 years now, which i believe is certainly something to be celebrated! Queen Elizabeth II, is celebrating 50 years on the throne, and is doing so by 2 main concerts at Buckingham palace, and thousands of parties around the country. Also - we have 2 bank holidays - so no school for some today - cheers maam! Celebrations were however threatened when a fire broke out in buckingham palace yesterday, causing rehersals for tonights rock concert to be stoped.
