Prior to receiving this card, the majority of my gaming was done on a heavily overclocked Gainward GeForce3 Ti 200. I had chosen Gainward since I knew they made a reliable product, have above average image quality, and incredible overclockability. Before having tested the XFX GeForce4 Ti 4200, I was somewhat skeptical to its overall quality and performance. But as I conclude my review, I can attest to the fact that XFX has jumped to the front of the line of add-in manufacturers of NVIDIA-based graphics cards. In nearly every aspect, XFX has matched or bested Gainward. As mentioned earlier, this is no small feat. Rather, it is a testament to their committment to reaching the top and being considered a key player in the market.
