AMD has released a new CPU roadmap which shows AMD's 64bit CPU's scheduled for the first half of 2003. As expected the AMD Opteron based on the SledgeHammer core will go for the server market and the AMD Athlon based on the ClawHammer core is going to be targeted at the desktop market.
