PGP 8.0 for Windows and Macintosh is now available for purchase and download. These new products offer significant advancements to current PGP offerings, including substantial new features.

PGP Desktop for Windows 8.0 includes Windows XP and XP Office support; new enhanced user interface, directory integration with Microsoft Active Directory, iPlanet Directory Server, Novell NDS, OpenLDAP Keyserver, Novell GroupWise 5.5 and 6.0 messaging client.

PGP Desktop for Macintosh 8.0 includes full support for Mac OS X (10.2 and later); new enhanced user interface; plug-in for Apple Mail that supports PGP/MIME (RFC 3156); Microsoft Entourage integration; dock and services integration; expanded Unicode support for multiple language and country support in keys and data; PGP Disk format compatibility between Mac OS X and Windows; encrypt using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) in PGP Disk.

PGP Enterprise 8.0 includes additional decryption key (ADK) management for safe enterprise data encryption; automatic key setup/generation, certificate request, approval, retrieval, smart card integration; silent pre-configured installs for easy mass deployment; automatic LDAP policy and keyring synchronization; extensive policy integration between PGP Keyserver and PGP Desktop.

PGP Personal 8.0 includes PGP Disk and PGP Mail for individual users that do not require such enterprise features as integration with Exchange, Notes, or GroupWise servers, access to higher levels of Support, or Upgrade Insurance.
