Steve Bink (of Bink.nu and WindowsXP.nu fame) has posted more information on his front page about the on-going struggle to give up his WindowsXP.nu domain to Microsoft, which now includes a petition you can sign online so he can rally support to keep Microsoft from taking his WindowsXP.nu domain from him.

The petition asks a few simple questions... :-

- Should Bink SURRENDER his domain www.windowsxp.nu to microsoft?: Yes / No
- Is your overall opinion of microsoft now worse or better as a result of this?
- and the usual comment space...

So if you are so inclinded, head on over and give Steve your support, so far the number of people signing is around 1600 and growing fast!

This is what I said to Bink, the thought is nice but he should bow out gracefully even he conceeds its Microsofts trademark -there could be any number of reasons why it took so long to act upon. Some sites might be considered "non-threatening" for a period of time to cut back on useless pursuing of upstarts who knows In our business its alot smarter to keep friends associated with Microsft, not alienate yourself from them, also thinking ahead (with the name) might of helped, but whats done is done. This is nice publicity for our mate Bink but if its the right type of publicity is what I question.
