Thanks ad@k...Yes folks, it's that time of year. The merry elves in Redmond have been busy cleaning up Win2k and now leaked to the dark void of the net is Service Pack 4.

w2ksp4_4.027_en.exe (sp4) comes in at a whooping 136,217,552, not a bad size for a service pack.

This is a preview release of the sp4 beta that will run for about 4 weeks, released a wee bit early by your one and only beta release group.

Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) provides the latest updates to the Windows 2000 family of operating systems. These updates are a collection of fixes in the following areas: application compatibility, operating system reliability, security, and setup.
