Thanks Bink again for the heads up on these 2, Microsoft apparently cancelled the release of Movie Maker 2 Final for Jan 7th as you can read on MM2 website here. We assume that they were surprised by heavy traffic generated by the Windows Media Player 9 series release on target (Jan 7th). The final will be out later today, for now you can still get the beta version.
Windows Movie Maker 2 Beta makes home movies amazingly fun. With Movie Maker 2, you can create, edit, and share your home movies right on your computer. Build your movie with a few simple drag-and-drops. Delete bad shots and include only the best scenes. Then share your movie via the Web, e-mail, or CD. Using third-party software you can even take movies you've made and turn them into DVDs. You can also save your movie back to the video tape in your camera to play back on a TV or on the camera itself.

and Plus! DME (Digital Media Edition) was released to web yesterday but to the disapointment of many web surfers it was only avaliable to US Credit card holders. The world it seemed was forced to wait till a later date. I won't go into how Bink felt at this revelation but he discovered a workaround which allows you to complete the order. I never thought I'd see the day Microsoft made it difficult to hand over CC details!

Is that in Back Page News? No. Do I read all the messages in other forums before posting? No. So unless you post in the correct forum please stop whining. Be happy we credit (unlike other sites) judging from the whining going on lately I'm not even sure thats a good idea anymore.
Ohh my god i posted thsi in the software forum at ... blah blah blah stupid stuff...
Oh, my, God... I'm really sure he did that on purpose. Like Bond said, be thankful we even credit people in the first place. Don't expect it, and don't get a little prissy attitude when things don't go your way either. Besides, it was not posted in BPN, which is the only forum that we need be crediting from as the rest are discussion based. Please. Think before you post.

last time I checked Mac and Windows are 2 different platforms, different programs, different ideas for different audiences. Come on
