It looks like Steve Bink, who ran the WindowsXP.nu site, has reached an agreement with Microsoft for the transfer of the domain back to the Redmond giant.

As reported back in December, Steve had been asked by Dutch lawyers representing Microsoft to hand over the WindowsXP.nu site.

Now, Steve has said that he reached an agreement with Microsoft last Friday, news of this agreement now visible on his web site for all to see.

He says in the note on his new site, that Microsoft only wanted the domain name, and will provide support for his new site, rather than extracting millions of dollars.
