Windows Media Player 2991 has leaked its way onto the internet. An updated build ripped from Windows Server 2003. We don't have any download links but will keep you updated on that. The build appears to work fine on Windows XP.
One noticeable change is the font on the Now Playing drop down is no longer bold and undefined :)
