- I am an AMD fan, but you have to hand it to Intel... 10 years with one brand is a huge achievement.

- I remember having Intel CPU's.... up to around 233 MMX I think..
Then went to the K6-2's... then only the K7 (Athlon)...
I remember seeing gameplay boost like 100% using exactly the same system just going from the K6-2 to the K7 lol
I will stick to Athlon until I see a good reason to change back to Intel... and their really annoying adverts.... and the Intel Jingle... (do do do doo!)

I started with an AMD K6@166Mhz...It was great...Then I got a k6-2@350 Mhz (my mother still uses it...And it plays Divx...Quite incrtedible
)...Now I got a XP2200 and I'm mounting an XP1500...
Lower cost, great performance...I'll stick to AMD for some years if they keep on this way

- lol I remember when Pentium 60/66 came out, it was slower than 486 in most area (just like P4 XD ), slot with no upgrade path, massive heat and size, and very very expensive. But hey guess what this little bugger hold through to become what it is today.
PS. 1. They missed the P3 800mgz
2. They also missed the P3 1.3ghz screwed up
