  • Sound Commands have been re-encoded:
    • Better quality.
    • Fixes problems some people had with the sounds.
  • Sounds are not played anymore when put in a name.
  • Personalised Status window doesn't display a negative count-down on slow computers.
  • No more problem related to exiting toast popups by right clicking on them in MSN Messenger 5
  • No more empty lines with using multiple Personalised Status messages (with '#'). Also, the maximum message count is now 9.
  • Emoticon menu problem fixed, sorry about that.
  • Swedish language added.
  • Minor corrections have been done in some languages.
  • Several other little fixes.

Nice guide and MCE is nice BUT I'd bet more people would buy it, if it was available as a seperate product.

Michael: yes i also think that more people would buy it if ms would offer an package with remote control/mce supported tv card and winxp.mce... maybe this summer if they release windows xp mce update

The only problem is that a tuner, remote, and MCE altogether would cost hundreds of dollars, which I for one am not prepared to pay for only a few improvements over my existing system.

the problem ( well, for me its a problem ) with selling MCE seperately is that they will sell it bundled with the OS, and i will never buy an OS if they would sell the remote seperately it will be just great!
