Windows XP Tablet PC Version 2 due 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2 due 2004. Beta 1 and Beta 2 of Longhorn due 2004.
These are the official dates from Microsoft themselves. As we know the next revision to MCE (1.5) is in beta at the moment in the US, Canada, France and the UK. According to a picture taken at WinHEC the next revision (v2) is not due to be released by Microsoft until 2004. Does this mean it is going to link in with or somehow play a role in Longhorn?
Also on the list in the screenshot is Windows XP Tablet PC Edition version 2, previously unheard of and unannounced but due to be launched in 2003. Whether or not there will be any beta for this product remains to be seen.
