Thanks ooo for telling me that he noticed a new Beta program in his Contact Info page called "VS Customer Preview" that can only refer to the Microsoft Virtual Server Beta which we reported on here a week ago. People were invited to sign up at BetaPlace using the guest ID: vscp. It's uncertain if Microsoft are still considering candidates -but you can try if interested.

Another beta is also out of the starting blocks, thats the PC Satisfaction Trial which we reported on here, and today a couple of posts down from this one. The guest ID is still open for sign-ups here at BetaPlace using the guest ID: PCSATTRIAL. Neowin has also obtained a download link for the web install of PC Satisfaction Trial, but its pretty useless because you need to be admitted so you can download the setup files and sign in with your passport (much like MSN Messenger it would seem).

The AutoShutdown program lets you suspend, hibernate, or shut down your computer after a specified period of time. In addition to saving resources, this program keeps your system more secure by making it unavailable to unauthorized people.

The CD AutoRun is an extension of Windows' CD and DVD autorun features, giving you additional options for starting programs or listening to music. The Virtual Desktop program lets you run as many as four custom-designed desktop configurations simultaneously, allowing you to tailor your computer screen to your mood and your work requirements.

TweakNow PowerPack's System Info gives you a complete picture of all aspects of your computer's hardware, including detailed information about your motherboard, processor, video card, memory, hard disk, and network. Armed with this information, it's easy to install new hardware and software, and quickly identify and fix system problems.

Whether you're a business person who needs to ensure that your computer is stable and reliable, a serious game player who wants to optimize your computer for the latest games' demands on computer resources, or a home user who wants to personalize the look and feel of Windows and Internet Explorer, TweakNow PowerPack 2003 Professional provides the tools you need to modify your computer safely.

Dear Microsoft Beta Tester, Welcome to the customer preview release of Microsoft Virtual Server. Virtual Server is Microsoft’s virtual machine (VM) solution that enables Windows servers to run multiple operating systems concurrently. Virtual Server enables simplified application migration, flexible server consolidation, and automated rapid deployment. Customers benefit by simplified operations, higher service level delivery, and operational cost savings. The purpose of this release is to provide early access to the software so that customers can understand the features and benefits of virtual machine technology for Windows servers, and to solicit feedback to functionality and features. bla, bla, bla... Received it today. It's started.

Lol. Nothing wrong with it... I'm participating at the newsgroups discussions, and didn't submit any bugs at Betaplace because it still isn't possible. It's just because the email is always the same, so I didn't bother post it all.
