As you may recall, we recently sent an email letting you know that there will be a Beta 2 Technical Refresh build available to you later this quarter. If you have been beta testing either SharePoint Portal Server or Windows SharePoint Services formerly SharePoint Team Services) on servers in your own environment, be aware that the Beta 2 Technical Refresh for these products will require an updated build of Windows Server 2003. The Windows Server 2003 Evaluation Kit is now available for you to download (or you may order an evaluation CD) from the following location

NOTE: We will not be automatically providing you a copy.

If you need to have the Windows Server 2003 Evaluation Kit sent to your address - given that shipping timeframes can be lengthy for physical media in some worldwide locations, we wanted to give you notice about the above requirement now. This should provide you with enough lead time to order an Evaluation Kit and ensure arrival of the Windows Server 2003 Evaluation CD prior to the Office System Beta 2 Technical Refresh release.

Thank you,
The Office System Team

*clap* and if you notice I never said they were of the refresh build. In actual fact it was going to come before June but now it's clear again it won't.
