The Exchange 2003 RC1 program is designed to give you an opportunity to try the new and enhanced features for 120 days. To experience the full functionality, deploy Exchange 2003 RC1 in a test operating environment running the released version of Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003. Exchange 2003 RC1 also runs on Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 3.
Important While you can upgrade from Exchange 2003 RC1 Standard Edition to Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition, you cannot downgrade from Exchange 2003 RC1 Enterprise Edition to the released version of Exchange 2003 Standard Edition. As a workaround, you must uninstall Exchange 2003 RC1 Enterprise Edition before installing the released version of Exchange 2003 Standard Edition.
Please Note: This build differs to the build that leaked onto the internet labelled as Exchange 2003 RC1, this build is 6940.4 whereas the leaked build is 6895.5.
