Microsoft has launched a new portion of their site-- Security and Privacy for Home Users. This page offers many tips for parents and home users to use surf the Internet more securely and privately. These tips include spam prevention, security basics, and tips for parents to protect their children. Among the offerings of their new site is free virus-related support for the U.S. and Canada. Users can obtain this support by calling 1-866-PCSAFETY.

McCafee must be happy - even though they make one of the worst anti-virus products out on the marketplace - with Microsoft behind them they can't lose.
