Thanks to Bink for this, The site is getting closer each day that the refresh download actually works.

Bink has found out that if you go there with an internal build of Office 2003 you cant update to beta2 refresh, we won't ask him how he found that out but heres the message the Office Update site returns if you use an internal build:

NOTE: The Office Update Beta site only supports the official Office 2003 Beta 2 build (build number 11.4920.4920) and the official Office 2003 Beta 2 Technical Refresh build (build number 11.5329.5329). You cannot use the site because you have installed Office 2003 product(s) from an unsupported build. Click on "About ..." under "Help" in the menu bar of your Office application to find its build number. To use the Office Update site, please uninstall any Office 2003 products from unsupported builds.

Clawing his way in

Using Wolverine's razor-sharp claws to hack and slash through enemies consumes much of the game play, but strategy and stealth are also required to infiltrate high-security locations.

The title is divided into six "acts," each of which includes three or four levels of game play. Visually, the game is played from a cinematic "over the shoulder" third-person perspective. Wolverine travels to different parts of the world to fight enemies, solve puzzles, and collect key power-ups and other items.

Mine tries to download still and then fails, like it did this weekend. However, now it shows InfoPath and all the others listed too.

They gave out the DF8 build at the Exchange Reviewer's Workshop in Dallas a few weeks back and, as Bink notes, it won't upgrade to the Beta 2 Refresh using the Auto Update tool you're linking to on the Web. This isn't a "secret" build or anything, it's also included in Exchange RC1 now so customers can get a more recent build of Outlook, which includes Exchange-related improvements.

Which version is included with RC1? I have the discs from Dallas and can't find anything more recent than 4920... any help with a later build is appreciated. Thanks.

Here's what I get when I go to the O2k3 Update site:

Office Update Help

Please wait. Checking for Office updates you need...

100% complete

The detection process can take up to one minute over a 56.6 Kbps connection.
No personally identifiable information is sent to Microsoft during this process.

Note that this site only supports Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003 products.
Your Office products require the critical updates listed below. The updates have already been selected for installation. If you do not want to install an update, deselect the check box next to it.

Updates for Office 2003 products
Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003 Beta Technical Refresh (English version)

This update must be installed on its own.

0 KB / Already Downloaded
193541 KB / Download Time = 100 min at your connection speed
Visio 2003 gives business and technical professionals the power to visualize and communicate ideas, business processes, information, and systems. This download is not a patch. It is a pre-release, full-product version of Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003.

More information...

Which is interesting because I only have Office XP Professional installed. It'll be even more interesting if the dowload actually works once the link is functional.

So this is going to be a 'download' like patch that applys to the old version. Not a new version right. So urrm how big is it going to be - im a beta tester for OFF2k3 and downloading something 200mb/100mb in size is kind of a chore. MS said the CD's woudl be available in limited supply's... i guess maybe i can snag one if i beg enough hehe

All testers who choose (coming soon) the CD option, eventually will get a CD in the mail. Either CD or download, not both.

I think they've killed external access - and officebeta.microsoft.com doesn't have the patches available/listed yet
