In the Sharepoint Beta 2 Refresh Email on the 17th of June, Microsoft made it clear that migration of its hosted sites would start that day and last until the 19th of June. They also made it clear that users will have to upgrade to the refresh in order to work properly with Windows SharePoint Services Beta 2 Refresh.

Today in a post by Sloan Crayton from Microsoft, details have emerged about how the "patches" for this update will work. Also to quote "we're very close to delivery of the Beta 2 Technical Refresh". The post warns users about free HD space as for the professional install you'll need 1gig free but the actual download will take up over 100meg. The updates are designed to work only with Office 2003 Beta 2 build 4920. At the end of the post it's recommended that users download the patches rather than wait for CD shipments.

From this post and the fact Sharepoint sites will shortly be back online "by the end of the week" I think we can safely say we'll see the Office 2003 Beta 2 Refresh later today or tomorrow at the latest. Here's to today/tomorrow :)

The keyboard is significantly smaller than that of the original Treo. The keys have a dome shape to them intended to make typing with thumbs easier. It has an integrated digital camera and will be able to send pictures via wireless e-mail. It will also play MP3 music files. The only thing we see missing is Bluetooth, and that can easily be added in a later model if the market demands it.

It will run Palm OS 5.2 and will come in versions for both GSM and CDMA wireless phone networks. On the CDMA side, you can expect Sprint PCS to be a major carrier--as it has carried the Treo 300 for some time and has a history with Handspring.

You will only get a CD if you have been approved to have one.

Incorrect Jason. Go read in the Newsgroups. "Our intention is for everyone on the technical beta programs to receive either the download or the CD. For a number of reasons, we would like the delivery via download to be the most popular. Sloan Crayton - Microsoft Office Beta Support"

I assumed that ment, only beta testers with for example: slow connections could get the CD ?

Not that I want it, I will get the download (as most will).

Yeah, most people will download it. Others will wait for the CD to come in the mail. Either you download it or you get the CD in the mail eventually. That's how it seems to me.
