Thanks aeons...To our valued users:
Thank you again for your participation in the PC Satisfaction Trial. We hope you have enjoyed your experience thus far with the service as we continue to improve with your input. There are some very exciting changes in this release that were driven by your feedback. This note is to let you know where we currently are in the trial. Today, we are releasing a major update to the service. Our goal is to provide the best possible customer experience we can for the PC Satisfaction Trial, and you have all been instrumental toward that end. Please keep the concerns and issues you are experiencing flowing in. We take all feedback very seriously!
If you have previously installed the trial successfully:
You should soon be seeing the new build of the Trial, build 187.18
This will automatically downloaded and install, as long as your computer stays connected to the internet for 20-30 minutes.
This new build also contains multiple fixes (many of them reported by our Alpha customers) to a variety of bugs and shortcomings. There remain many areas where the product can be improved. We look forward to your continued suggestions and will be bringing you an even better version soon.
Thanks!
The PCSat team

On Friday someone using the handle Hack4life posted to the Full Disclosure mailing list a copy of a message that the CERT Coordination Center sent to vendors warning them of the Adobe flaw. CERT officials said they don't know how the message was leaked.
Hack4life has become something of a nuisance for CERT. This marks the third time the individual has posted CERT documents to the Full Disclosure list.
The updated version of Adobe Reader is available here.

This new build contains the following improvements:
1. Progress bars added for all relevant tasks.
2. AntiVirus UI improvements for scan setting.
3. BackUp on demand.
4. A customer feedback mechanism.
5. General improvements in performance, security, and stability.
