flaw? i thought this was a planned 'feature', specifically designed to let that insane Utah Senator hack into your box and delete your mp3s

...certain information...

Passwords, credit card information, hard drive files? What, exactly?

lol, nothing in my WMP library, I don't use that garbage.
Winamp plays more file types than WMP can play, plus Winamp plays WMP's default file types even better than WMP itself, even all video types play better in Winamp.

so true, i drifted away from Winamp camp a year or so ago, used media player 8, then 9, then tried out winamp 2.9 series again and WOW, i love their 'music-blending' as you skip ahead thru mp3, and the slider bar never hangs like it does in WMP9 all the time. so i'm back in the winamp group.

but even if you hate winamp, there's 2 very nice alternatives to WMP; jet Audio and MusicMatch. WMP is so outgunned its pathetic. and to have such severe flaws makes it that much important to avoid.

Musicmatch? Talk about garbage...

Those download links make it look like we're downloading the flaw. :]

Oh, and for what it's worth, I haven't been able to tolerate MusicMatch since 6.x. And back then I just used it for making MDs. There's just something retarded about the File menu taking a moment to pop up.
