- This isn't news
Its only relevant if you are a beta tester in which case you already know
In addition, this new EULA says that you arent allowed to even acknowledge the products existence until MS make it public -

- New Windows Update 5 EULA in preperation for RC1 excuse me for being ovbservant, the news title is already news to me without reading the rest. We also did a service by allowing the not-so-well-informed know that WU5 is coming.
whether its news to you is relative of course

- O goody.... and that EULA prevents that certain information will be leaked by anonymous sources.
Yeah right!
How ignorant can you be!
There will always be people who will claim - and thus prove by means of text or screenies - to be the first with news on software-issues, Win Updates, Office Systems or Windows to-be-released versions. No matter what EULA says I think. -

- Neobond.. this was obviously ripped from the Private Email that we beta testers get yesterday I got the same email(s).. its not cool that you guys are posting these things. Beta Info should be kept hush hush unless Microsoft comes out publicly and says otherwise.
These emails are strickly under the NDA that Microsoft makes you apply to, by posting this stuff Its a direct violation.

- Neowin does it consistantly and obviously, and Microsoft has yet to complain.

The Windows Update Team has a new End-User License Agreement (EULA) for the pre-release versions of the Windows Update site and its contents. A survey page containing the EULA will be presented to you when you enter the Windows Update Beta Program page on the BetaPlace website. Please go to the website and read the EULA. After you read it, please accept or decline the EULA.
We know filling out surveys and reading EULA are not the high points of your beta testing experience and would like to thank you for your patience. We are ramping up for Windows Update V5 RC1 and this is part of that process. More information regarding Windows Update V5 RC1 will be coming this week.
Thank you very much!
