- Microsoft Office 2003 Trial + "Special update" = Microsoft Office 2003 Full version.
... Just kidding.

- That's great, but what's an "Office 2003 Trail"?

- Yeah, that's correct. The title should be "Tiny.COM + Microsoft = Office 2003 Trial Pre-installed..."

- I agree, although I never bought their PC personally you only need to look at them to see that they are made with cheapest components possible.

- clearly. when i was a tech back in the UK, over 50% of my callouts were for Tiny PCs, if you could class them as PCs, they really are the cheapest most scoundrelous *******s in the industry - avoid.
And whats the deal with gluing the IDE cables in place? cheap transit trick?
IMO, Tiny.com + Microsoft = double the rip-off.

- TINY sucks BIG TIME. I would never buy anything from them.
and since its cheaper systems with office trial chances are that very little people need to pay for upgrade, as getting a patch or crack is much easier then downloading full version.

- It would probably be a wise move for Microsoft to include Office 2003 Trial with all versions of Windows XP. But, don't give them any nag screens until the trial runs out. Then, after the stupid customer is completely dependent, start asking for more money!
Thats how you run a monopoly!
[edit]no, really.[/edit]

- I ordered a laptop from tiny.com in January, it came with one speaker not working and its box looked like it had been kicked round the road. I sent it back and within 2 weeks got another. This laptop was the most expensive one they had and 3 buttons fell off within the first 3 days. the hard drive made awful noise and the battery wouldn't charge. I sent it back and asked for another model. 2 weeks later i phone up to see whats going on only to find out they had forgot to put my new laptop into the computer ordering system so i would have to wait another 10 days, take it or leave it. I spent 7 days in all off works waiting for deliveries and sending returns. I have since got my money back. Tiny are the worst ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Trial means that you need to "register" the product. The register must be made in MS sites (bad idea) or in astalavista site (good idea).
