any compatibility issues with Server 2003 or the Longhorn Trans. Pack?
    #11.1 Windows X on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:22
Surely will. My transformation pack supported XP based client if it's official release still.
    #12 Windows X on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:20
Err.... Any chance to make Software Contribution for Neowin Total Transformation wish?
    #13 theyarecomingforyou on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:21
It looks a bit shoddy... it's a nice idea and the visual style looks quite nice, but it just doesn't quite work. The cursors look really bad. Keep improving it though, I just think it needs to be a lot more subtle... if it was coloured and themed like Neowin but not having the Neowin logo everywhere then it *could* be really nice.
    #14 glix81 on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:26
well duh its the editors choice.

At risk of sounding like a heretic but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing, neowin is great but having neowin on ur desktop permanently is a step too far in my opinion.
    #19 vagabond on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:53
The pack looks really nice... Gotta try it...
    #20 Lighthater on 29 Mar 2004 - 19:57
theyarecomingforyou is right. I like Neowin as much as the next guy, but too many logos.
    #21 Windows X on 29 Mar 2004 - 20:06
So you guys want me to remove logo brand in everywhere or something right? This is a first release so please inform me some opinions for better release in next time.

    #36 raid517 on 30 Mar 2004 - 00:45

    #37 hectorsr on 30 Mar 2004 - 02:26
It would be nice if the user could choose what things to install ...
    #38 Windows X on 30 Mar 2004 - 04:25
Most of problems occured because you guys didn't read information before transformation. You can uninstall it by run transformation pack again and choose rollback option. For SideBar, try to change wallpaper if it still exists.

theme won't work. when I select it from Display Properties the preview screen goes wacky and after I click apply Windows sets the theme to classic.
I installed the uxtheme.dll patch to see if that helps.. but no luck!
    #39.1 LispyGlitter2 on 30 Mar 2004 - 05:28
at first I just installed it in normal mode, the theme variation didnt' complete change over and restarts didn't help. It is HIGHLY suggested that you install it in safe mode, I finally did and it installed perfectly.
    #40 donachello on 30 Mar 2004 - 08:52
Looks nice but, I'm not that obsessed with Neowin... Sorry lads... I like it does look sweet...

    #43 scoobydoobie on 30 Mar 2004 - 12:06
Please don't tell me you people actually use a neowin theme? har
    #44 Randall_Lind on 30 Mar 2004 - 14:02
Who uses stylebar I find it crappy.
    #45 blueshirt on 30 Mar 2004 - 15:20
I saw the dialogue boxes screenshot. I wish LunaVX has that.
    #46 funkyMonkey on 30 Mar 2004 - 19:42
it looks otaku. It is like you know you are into anime too much when you put anime on your desktop and you know when neowin changed your life when the entire windows looks like neowin.
