While NVIDIA’s mainboard partners are still about to deliver the nForce3 250 and nForce3 250Gb-based mainboards, the company is continuing to work on more powerful platform products. Sources familiar with the company’s plans told X-bit labs that NVIDIA’s PCI Express core-logic for AMD64 chips will sport boosted PCI Express specs as well as High-Definition audio.

Unofficial sources said that NVIDIA’s core-logic code-named CK8-04/Pro designed for AMD’s Socket 939 processors will sport 1000MHz HyperTransport bus, 4 Serial ATA-150 ports with RAID, 2 Parallel ATA-33/66/100/133 channels with RAID, Gigabit Ethernet, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 4 PCI slots, High-Definition 24-bit 96kHz 7.1 audio as well as something NVIDIA calls PCI Express x20.

Have you tried using Ye Olde Searche Enginez? Pricewatch? Beuller? Frye?

I did google it and it didn't turn up much, and besides I didn't know if these cards were only released to special people to test them or what and I just wanted to know if anyone else knew. I always use Google and other resources before I come here. Some people aren't as advanced as others and if all the people here just tell someone to use a search engine to answer their question this wouldn't be much of a site. I guess we are lucky there are a select few of nice people here that will actually answer questions. BTW Grappa this isn't directed towards just you, because I see this kind of comment all the time and I am kind of getting tired of it. Some things are very hard to find on Google, and if all you have to do is post a question on here and if the right person sees it and is nice, then you get lucky and save yourself a huge headache.

I hope the video cards are actually good now, no use to having a powerful card if your games look like ****.

Will this extra speed only work for nVidia cards? If so that would kinda suck... and would mean people would need to buy nVidia motherboard and graphics to try and stay ahead of the game (I know ATI will have a great card, but nVidia can often optimise well).
