After applying the hotfix referenced in KB article 828026, some URL script commands do not fire even though they would be expected to do so. In addition to the URL script command issues, this package addresses an issue with the installer that would cause 100% CPU utilization in certain scenarios.

For comments #4+6: it installed just fine here on Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 RC1...

You shouldn't have installed it, SP2 RC1 includes newer.

#1.1, actually it's a mix. 1 file is newer, 1 is not. msdxm.ocx in SP2 RC1 is build .1128, this patch has .1129. This has acutally been reported to MS and posted in their SP2 forums.
#7.3 CoolShady2002 on 22 Apr 2004 - 19:32
Thanks for that. SP2 RC1 users DO need this patch then.
