The second week of the GUI Olympics has finished up with judging on 3 events completed: Most Usable Visual Style, Most original Winamp skin and Most original icon package.

Most usable visual style

Agreed I wasn't a fan of the fly either the vector was my favorite out of all of em, but honesly I would have never used any.
Awesome icon packages though, those were some slick icons

Agreed, the icons are beautiful.

VectorCell seems to be working nicely -- I downloaded and installed WindowBlinds just for this theme...

Interesting application.

Vector cell does rock. I like it a lot. I talked to the judges who obviously liked it too (there's a LOT of skins on there and many awesome skins didn't make the top 3, you should see some of the great skins that came in the top 10).

When you're in the top 5, it's a matter of just a point or two. FlyOS had some advantages such as toolbar icons and progress animations that give it a totally complete effect. It also had a system icon in the title bar (neither Luna HOE or Vector have a system icon which, again from a usability, is something that may affect some people).

Vinyl - they're supposed to be tame. The category was "most usable".
