ATI Technologies has unveiled its new Mobility Radeon X600 mobile graphics processor , formerly code-named "M24." Mobility Radeon X600 is the first mobile graphics processor to work with PCI Express, a new high-speed computer connection standard, Trupty Vora, a mobile product manager at ATI, told NewsFactor.

The Markham, Ontario-based manufacturer also introduced its mobile graphics interface, Axiom (Advanced eXpress IO Module), which will allow users to upgrade their graphics hardware in notebooks. It is designed to compete with Nvidia's rival product, MXM. More than 16 OEMs have committed to using Mobility Radeon X600, including Acer, Arima, ASUS, Clevo, ECS, eMachines, FIC, Gateway, HP , Inventec, LG, Mitac, Samsung , Quanta, Uniwill and Wistron.

In theory all with M10 (R9600) should be able to upgrade (FlexFit technology)
not sure if this is usable for M9 and mobile R9700 ...
