Maybe they will FINALLY fix the poor rendering in FarCry.
#7.1 fo20 on 08 Jun 2004 - 20:08
these drivers have issues on my comp with farcry. getting textures and models that blink in and out.
#7.2 jeavis on 08 Jun 2004 - 20:14
Oh well so much for that
#7.3 wachtourak on 15 Jun 2004 - 20:57
Re the far cry Issue, I had no Issues on my FX5600XT, made it run faster though and I got more 3dmarks.
#8 dan87 on 08 Jun 2004 - 20:15
Has anyone had a problem with the 5x.00/6x.00 forceware drivers and mouse lag on the desktop? I've read this had to do with the nview software. Is there any fix for this yet? Whenever I have multiple videos open it seems like the system and my mouse become really slugish.

Thanks

DO NOT INSTALL THESE DRIVERS if you use a Asus 5900 ultra!!!!

i usually get in the range of 5500-6300 depending on how much I OC my card while running 3d Mark 03, and I just ran it and I got a 1159!!! WTF??????

And Yes, before you ask, the Drivers were Installed Properly manually, etc. etc.

I did not believe my eyes so I loaded up Unreal 2004, and I got 14 FPS when I usually get upwards of 60+!!!

Man i really do hope these are just beta's, because if not, this is a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad sign...

EDIT - Just Ran 3dMark 03 Again going back to the Drivers I was using (The 56.72's) and I scored a 6154, and Unreal is back to normal... again all I ask is WTF????

Did you reboot your machine after installing the drivers the first time
#9.2 NinjaOfLove on 09 Jun 2004 - 13:03
I wish IQ tests were mandatory in order to get internet access.

It's a BETA driver.
