not everyone has a machine capable of running MS Office 2004. Older versions (2003, XP, 2000) are still quite popular.

Office 2004 is Mac only, so 2003, XP, and 2000 are the only versions they'd be able to give to us

They are outdated when they speak. When they say Office Xp, they meant Office 2003. Awhile back, for another beta program, MS sent me Office 2003 for gift, and when I exchanged email with them, they confirmed with me that it is "Office 2003", not Office Xp (as they mentioned in email).

Shame on me.. I have not tested LCM 2005 yet though it is in RC phase.. and I have been in that program since the start of LCM 2003

You do not have to think. I know it is RC because I am in the program.
