Apple announced today that if has finally sold 100,000,000 songs on iTunes. The 100,000,000 song downloaded was Somersault (Dangermouse remix) by Zero7. The luck winner is Kevin Britten of Hays, Kansas. Who will receive a 17-inch PowerBook, a 40GB iPod, and a gift certificate for 10,000 iTunes songs to create the ultimate music library for his new iPod. In addition we awarded 50 special 20GB iPod’s — one to the purchaser of each 100,000th song downloaded between 95 million and 100 million songs.
Well, no-one really lost anything, but I see what you mean. Jammy lil' guy eh? Fancy buying one song and ending up with 10,000 free ones. Plus an iPod and a PowerBook...

IMO they should keep awarding the iPods to every 100,000th song.
One of the ipods, the 97,700,000song downloaded won't be valid. The person downloaded "Combat Baby by Metric" which was a free download, and ineligable to win.
