Thanks annon

We would like to extend an invitation for you to beta test a version of Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Windows XP Professional for x64 processors.

This service pack beta is really two programs in one. First it is a traditional service pack that contains fixes and security enhancements for Windows Server 2003. It is also a new client release of Windows XP Professional that is designed to run on AMD Athlon 64 and Opteron processors and Intel processors with EM64T.

Regardless of whether you wish to test just the server or the new 64-bit client, we welcome you to join.

#15.1 MoRiA on 09 Nov 2004 - 12:56
BetaReq if you want to apply to become a beta tester I think...
#16 mikey1001 on 09 Nov 2004 - 18:31
Once you're enrolled, everything related to these beta programs are hosted at http://windowsbeta.microsoft.com
I've been on this one for months now and I can see why their extending more invites, there seems to be just a handful of people actively testing the 64 bit versions, as opposed to a ton of folks playing around with the service pack. If anyone has an AMD 64 platform you should send in a request, I bet you stand a good chance of getting in.

lol, I just did the survey and noticed that this form has been used before:

"After completing your survey expect to receive a confirmation in one to two weeks. The invitation period will last until 9/27/2004. All surveys must be completed by this date."

Note the date

WHen I log into Betaplace, I only see the option to download 2003 SP1. I don't see a link to the latest XP 64-bit link
