- Who the heck has been 'criticizing" the MSN Outlook Connector. I think it works just fine. Been using it for quite some time now... both alongside an existing Exchange mailbox profile and all by itself. Seems like a lot of hype for nothing. Guess we'll see tomorrow.

- I too have been incredibly happy with the Outlook Connector. I have both of my MSN accounts set up in Outlook on both my desktop at home, my workstation at work, and my tablet/laptop. It's easiliy the best way to keep synchronized.
There are some minor problems... mostly to do with it saving changes that are made when in Offline mode (as in, it doesn't save them). But that's rarely been a problem for me.
However, I am extremely glad to see this awesome feature getting some more attention. Personally, I think this integration of Outlook and MSN is what makes my MSN subscription worthwhile.

- I must be missing something... I'm doing all that already with Outlook 2003 and my hotmail plus account. Is Microsoft just planning on charging another subscription fee for something that used to be included before?

- I think the one u r using is httpmail, this is outlook live (well outlook connector, can't see any difference), this thing syncs calendar, and task etc as well, and httpmail only syncs emails

- The Intellisync thing has been around for a while. I've never personally used it but it looks like it fills in the gaps.

- As far as I can tell, this is just the second version of the Outlook Connector for MSN (with a new name).
If you're currently using the Outlook Connector, you'll just be asked to upgrade to the new version.
I don't think this release is affecting the subscription model in any way.

- darn i was thinking they're making something new like sync all offline mails onto a webbased server so I can check my mails anywhere I go...

- Obviously this is still Web Dav. The only difference is they are charging for it. I thought the reason why they had stopped this feature for everyone was because they said Spammers were exploiting the service.

- So, it's like Exchange for normal people (since Exchange has both Outlook Web Access and Outlook support).

- The big difference really is that it downloads all your hotmail/msn e-mail to your hard drive by default. The old way you had to move them to a local folder on your hard drive off the hotmail server.

- Nice...especially since I use a Hotmail account as a backup for my work email (Exchange) and for Messenger, this is great. I just hope they are offering this as part of MSN Premium, and not charging extra for it.

- Is this "live" yet? I can't seem to find anything other than the obnoxious flash "demo" that is linked at the top of this page.

Add to Windows Live
MOOL (Microsoft Office Outlook Live) is a replacement for the heavily criticised MSN Outlook Connector. Just like Outlook Connector the add-in aims to synchronise data between MSN Hotmail and Microsoft Outlook, but the idea is to extend the capabilities of such synchronisation. Users of MOOL should be able to sync mail/calendar entries/contacts/notes/tasks with MSN Hotmail.
Although the service is due to Beta tomorrow it's expected the service will be widely available in the first quarter of 2005.
B]Features:[/B]
· The best PC performance: Choose between a silent running mode or the best graphics performance settings and the wizard automatically adjusts all performance metrics (clocks, voltages, fan speeds, bus speeds, etc.) to get the best options for the hardware in the system.
· Improved dynamic overclocking: Provides on-the-fly overclocking and BIOS configuration within an easy-to-use Windows interface that is streamlined and simplified for better user understanding.
· Benchmarking wizard: See how your PC configuration stacks up against synthetic benchmarks before and after adjusting system parameters.
· Saved system profiles: Save, import, and export custom overclocking or BIOS profiles. Assign profiles to favorite programs for automatic application. A safety "watchdog" checks temperature and steps system down if failure could occur.
· GPU overclocking: Overclocking of GeForce FX and GeForce 6 Series GPUs is supported in concert with system overclocking, temperature monitoring, and system profiles.
· System troubleshooting: An automated reporting tool captures all needed information to help you determine when problems may be happening to the system, and helps you troubleshoot.
· Improved system monitoring: Temperatures, voltages, and bus speeds are now available as an “always-on-top” window with a transparency option so that it is visible at all times.
· Voltage and bus speed monitoring: Track actual motherboard voltages, GPU clocks, bus speeds, and CPU core speed to ensure safe and correct settings.
· Temperature and fan speed monitoring: Real-time monitoring of CPU, GPU and system temperatures helps prevent hardware damage. nTune supports dual-CPU and SLI multi-GPU systems.
· Dynamically adjustable voltages and fan speeds: Adjust motherboard voltage levels without a reboot, as well as dynamically control fan speeds.
· Dynamically adjustable memory timings: Change critical memory timings without rebooting and without entering the BIOS.
