#24.1 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:07
Yes, Conan was hired to make Gates look like a fool.
#24.2 Zirus1701 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:08
good, its not just me. I would have liked to see Jey Leno do the show, rather than him. But thats me.

or at least someone who can carry on an intelligent tech conversation.
#24.3 todd` on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:10
lmao@ this thing with the remote
#24.4 Zirus1701 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:10
yea lol.
#24.5 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:13
Jesus, Leno sucks and is a moron.

I'm sure Conan is getting paid. That means playing nice. That means: not saying "Fck Creative, I want an iPod."

Conan has gotten in a few solid backhands and is clearly both bored and unimpressed with this show.

He is adding all the ENTERTAINMENT. If not for him, I'd be asleep from this boring tripe.
#24.6 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:25
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz... Zzzzzzz... Zzzzzzzz....
#24.7 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:57
There you go: Conan did a Leno impression for ya.
#25 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:08
Ha, ha, ha... you'll find that remote EVENTUALLY, Bill.
#26 Zolk on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:08

#31 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:21
Jeez, Gates really has accomplished a lot of that convergence dream.

He can't get a photo, a PHOTO, slideshow to work, and they can't connect to the INTERNET!! Wow! Lovely!
#32 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:22
This dude should be played by the dwarf in the Station Agent in that NBC CES movie.
(4 replies) #33 Toxikk on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:25
anyone notice how he said CEA instead of CES?

haha type-o on the que-card?
#33.1 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:27
CEA = Consumer Electronics Association

#33.2 Toxikk on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:28

#33.4 Toxikk on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:42

#34 Zirus1701 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:28
If I have a huge hard drive, like say 3 or 400 GBs, could I rip DVD movies onto it, and use media center to stream them to the TV?

could I set it up like that guide that was on the tv for the movies?
#35 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:32

Interact with a cell phone... A CINGULAR cell phone...

Thanks for making my life better through techology.. but only if I buy your brand.. Standards? Why, if you have exclusivity?
#39.1 Toxikk on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:43

that made me giggle.
#40 Cmdr. Grunt on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:38
Get that Camera guy's crotch out of there!!!
#41 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:38
He's calling MSN a partnership just to count up to three? What a sh1thead!!
#42 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:40
Sent Conan a PMC with no software? Great stuff, Microsoft, keep it coming.
#43 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:40
"You can transfer that video content in a very simple way..."

So simple we aren't going to show you us doing it.
#44 pixlnet on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:42
One word. BORING.
#45 Cmdr. Grunt on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:45
Microsoft's media player situation for pocket pc's and smartphones sucks. They leave it up to the OEM's to decide if we get updates to the player. So lets say your stuck on MP8, everything is 9 or 10 now. No dice. all this great 10 stuff? Nope.. I say this because so far, most providers choose not to upgrade your os or your components. They would rather you get a new phone! One exception is T-Mobile which has been great for the windows mobile platform. I'm on sprint though, and so far I'm SOL in most cases.
#46 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:45
"We've got real innovation.

...

Sunto's got a watch with a heart monitor in it."

How is that Microsoft's, and how is that innovative?
#47 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:47
You could see Conan could barely hold a straightface when he was saying how much the form factor of the watches has improved.
(1 reply) #48 Cmdr. Grunt on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:47
I hope Conan has coffee...
#48.1 Hills420 on 08 Jan 2005 - 16:20
it shouldn't be that boring...
#49 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:48
"They've been the leader."

Say it, Bill, say it. Sony has 300% more marketshare than the XBox.
#50 Zirus1701 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:49
xbox may have out sold the PS2 in the US but it doesn't even come close world wide.
#51 Corona on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:49

(2 replies) #52 no-sweat on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:49

#53 Cmdr. Grunt on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:52
Lol, I like this guy's twang that keeps popping up... What is that?
#54 dp123 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:54
Are they really demoing car part mods to demonstrate the "FUTURE" of gaming?

Does this guy think we haven't played a driving game in the last 5 years? Does he think we give a sh!t about whether or not he puts decals on his car?

WOOOPS, BLUE SCREEN!!

"Imagine if you will..." if this was a decent demo that didn't crash.
#55 Zirus1701 on 06 Jan 2005 - 03:54
