Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has announced that the "next stage" of the server software Exchange is to allow for the "pushing" of e-mails with the new version of the Windows Mobile operating system, which Gates recently launched. Gates, who now holds the position of Chief Software Architect, made the statements in interview with the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung (FAZ). He explained that the approach was different than with Blackberry, which is based on Research in Motion (RIM). This new e-mail function is to be part of the server software. Microsoft thus aims to make wireless e-mail traffic an everyday function.
